My daughter will officially be 16 in 2 short days!  Where has time gone? She went from a tiny toe-headed precocious toddler to a tall and beautiful (still precocious) young lady.  That’s worth celebrating, right?

We threw her a party last weekend and I’m now coming up for air to post a few.  OK.  A lot.

A huge thank you to my sweet friends Tayva, Kristina, Candace, Gail Pomare, and my sister Ashley for lending various party items as well as helping hands.  Maddy’s amazingly artistic friend Momi served as a face-painter and created all kinds of awesome.  The kids had hot dogs, and popcorn, posed for each other in the photo booth, dipped their legs in the hot tub, played soccer, and bounced in the bounce house all night.  I was so impressed with how polite Maddy’s friends were, many of whom greeted and thanked me as they arrived.

All in all we had a great time!
