We just got home from an action packed July 4th week with my mom and my sister, Jennifer and her family in Utah. As I do every year, I took their family portraits. What I love most about them is their willingness to be creative and do something out of the ordinary. Last year, you may remember, we did haunted family portraits in an old house she was restoring. (We were actually the first guests in that now finished absolutely adorable 1905 cottage last week) The previous year we did a night time session with Christmas lights that you’ve probably seen on Pinterest. This year, she is doing a bedroom makeover project for HGTV and had a vision of a colorful fun session involving a surrey in mind for her portrait wall. So she found the surrey, organized the clothing and we headed out to a local park with a beautiful backdrop of the Wasatch mountains to shoot her beautiful and fun-loving family.
I’m sharing just one because I’m still working on the rest. But this one was one of my favorites.
SO cute! Thanks again for the fun session. You are amazing!!
xoxo
