The older my kids get, the less I photograph them. Sad, isn’t it? I don’t do it on purpose but we seem to get busier and busier every year and I just don’t think to bring my camera every we go like I used to. This lifestyle project has been one of the only things that pushes me to consciously document our daily lives. This is my fourth year with this project and I’m so grateful to be among such talented photographers as we each strive to document our personal lives amidst the craziness of everything else.
Living in the Bay Area, we tend to stay within our comfortable bubble, our small town, among our friends and familiar surroundings. There are so many places close to us that we’ve never explored so one Sunday afternoon during Christmas break, I suggested we take a drive somewhere we’ve never been before. Within 5 minutes, my husband had everyone in the car, including the dog, and we were headed off to the “bay”. We ended up at the Martinez Marina where we walked the wilderness trail and explored the boardwalk. Blessed because my daughter, my muse, was home for Christmas too. Here’s What a Sunday Afternoon Drive Looks Like.
I hope you’ll continue on in our little circle this month by visiting the very talented Stephanie Moore to get a glimpse into her month.
