My son’s kindergarten class is learning about growing seeds and the anatomy of a plant.
So they took their annual field trip to Tassajara Nursery, just down the road from the school.
Tassajara Nursery is one of the best nurseries in the Bay Area and a wonderful resource for us here in Danville. The folks there are always terrific with the kids, giving them a tour of the store, teaching the kids about different flowers, herbs, and trees and even sprinkling hundreds of ladybugs loose for the kids to catch and let crawl all over their shoes and clothes and arms and legs.
The kids had such a fun afternoon!
It’s bittersweet since he’s my youngest and this will be our last kindergarten field trip. Ever! Where has time gone???
Here are a few images that I captured that day.
Wouldn’t this be a fun setting for a family or child portrait session? Hmmm…
Happy Wednesday!
