Bay Area Photographer | Fifty-Two Fridays | Week 29

Surprisingly, this project is still going strong!  This is about the time of year that my Project 365 died a quick and painless death last year.  I know it’s because of the 19 other photographers that help push me along creatively every week, that I still look forward to each and every theme.  Some weeks are harder than others.

This week, our theme is FRUIT.  Seeing as how we moved into our new house TWO days ago and I have yet to do an official trip to the grocery store to stock the pantry, I was very low on actual fruit that I could photograph.  LUCKILY our yard has a lemon tree.  I scouted out the tree and found one lonely lemon ripe and ready for picking.  I gathered up the boys from the pool and asked them to each take a taste of it.  This is what I heard:

“Moooommmmm, do I have to eat the whole thing?”

“Ewwww, yuck!  I HATE fruit!”

and

“That’s cool…  I love lemons…  I can totally do this.  Lemon aren’t sour at all to me.”

Can you guess which kid said  what?

  1. How fun to have a lemon tree in your back yard! I would love to have a yearly fruit tree. The facial expressions you captured are just great!
