Depression-Era Family Session | Bay Area Photographer

What a crazy but exciting week we’re facing at the VonSosen’s.  We are so excited to leave “the  cave” behind this week as we move into our new home just a few miles down the road from us.  So many things to do before then.  We arrived home from visiting friends and family in Utah last night and I should have gone right to bed, but I couldn’t wait to edit a few from a session I had with this fabulous family.  She is my good friend and contacted me a few months ago about doing a vintage styled family session while we were in town.  She scoured the Valley and found wonderful depression-era clothing for everyone along with an amazing vintage car.

I wanted to post a few here for her before my house gets packed up and moved across town.  So, enjoy!  And more to come a little later!

I promise we had more fun than the kids are letting on!  These were their “serious” faces.  Most of the time they looked like this:

Happy Monday!!!

  1. These are absolutely gorgeous photos!! I love the style and everything about them. The light is stunning! Awesome posing-esp on the railroad tracks!

  2. These are amazing! I’m so happy to see more and I am SO impressed with how well the kids did (the serious faces). I love them all. I hope they’re going to get a big album and cherish these forever. Such a neat session.
