Despite the rain and the brewing storms (my favorite kind of weather!), the dance went on as scheduled Friday night. Our die-hard neighbors put on a fun family street dance complete with sound equipment, strobe lights, and food. The kids had a great time! A certain someone (who shall remain nameless) rustled up the courage to ask a certain other someone to dance. Twice. All was good in the world that night.
We love going out with friends. It’s so nice to have people you can call up and go out with spur-of-the-moment, which is what we did Saturday night. It was Cosmic Bowling at a local alley so we grabbed a pair of clean socks and headed out for a night of bowling. It’s been a couple years since we’ve been. It showed. But we had a great time! The girls won the first round and the boys won the second.
that looks like soooo much fun! I would have loved to have been dancing in the street with ya’al 🙂 !
A street party sounds like so much fun, and your photos confirm it. I’m guessing the non-specific dancing was your daughter, ahem, welcome to my world……….lovely teen daughters are scary…LOL.
I’m an awful bowler………….its’ so sad. I’m not really good at Wii bowling either.
I especially enjoyed Ralf’s dance skills that he so diligently searched out and practiced before the event! You have a fun family!
Looks like an amazing time! Bowling is one of our favorite things to do. Kids enjoy it too!
How fun! Your neighborhood looks like a great place to live.
We had a wonderful weekend. Some of it you can read on my blog 😉

That dancing looks like so much fun. Glad Maddy had a good time too. Keep practicing those strikes!
What a fun weekend! It has been forever since I danced (well, in public) and been bowling! Now it’s on my list of things to do very soon! Thanks!
What a lot of fun! Did that dance make the Guiness Book of World Records, or what?
Sounds fun! I love bowling. Cute pictures!

I’ve never bowled in my life (unbelievable, I know) -which is a shame ’cause it all looks like such great fun!
Sounds like you had a great weekend 🙂 Here’s to many more to come!
Ps. There’s a blog award waiting for you, over at my place. Feel free to come pick it up, anytime 😉
What? Dancing in the street? Does it get any better than that?
Everyone thinks it’s Maddy that you’re talking about. I think it was Jack!! What a great time we had – thanks for adding so much to the party!
