What-in-the-Heck! Wednesday

Question:  WHAT IN THE HECK!  would convince me to allow this guy to take my 7 year-old son out of school in the middle of the day, to another town, in a pimped up Lincoln with tinted windows for an hour WITHOUT ME???

Really good question!!!

The reward for the top two sellers in each grade who sold the most cookie dough and cheesecakes for the school’s annual fund-raiser was a trip to Arctic Circle in a limousine.  Erik was one of them.

And this guy (believe it or not) was the driver (and I can only assume the owner) of Rod’s Limos.

I just about wet my pants when “Rod” showed up to escort these little darlings to Arctic Circle!  Not because I’m anywhere near a fan of Mr. Stewart.  No.  I’ve never wanted his body nor have I ever found him sexy.  I’m sorry to any of you that have.   If you’re not the real thing but look this close to it, there’s got to be something wrong.

I was SO relieved when I found out the Kindergarten teacher would also be coming along to chaperone.

They were SO excited!  Aren’t they cute?  (I promise he left the house with combed hair this morning.)

And they were off…

BYE!!!

Please come back soon…

(Should I be worried?)

  1. Do you get notification if someone comments on one of your past posts? I just posted a comment about a movie you should see…go look.

  2. Oh, that is AWESOME!

(And, yes, the first time I saw Rod perform “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” in those leopard-skin tights, I thought I’d fall out of my chair. Of course, I was in junior high, so my mind was clouded with lots of Sweet Tarts and lip gloss.)

    Hope they had a blast!

  3. That’s hilarious. I wonder how he dresses on his days off. Your “What-in-the-Heck! Wednesday” posts are always some of my favorites!

  4. He needs to get with the times. He’d get a lot more play if he dressed up like one of the Jonas brothers. It would still be scary…. but at least more people would know who he was.

  5. I have to agree – What in the heck?? I seriously thought you were posting something from when you lived in Salt Lake or California or something. I didn’t know there were people like that in Idaho. LOL!

    What a hoot!

  6. You are one brave mom! He is scary. I would have been tempted to rip my child away from even having a photo with him. On the other hand, it will make for GREAT story telling for years to come.

  7. Wow! Only in Middleton Idaho would the prize be a limo ride to Arctic Circle. Seriously did any one “vet” this guy. Tami
